OpenFOAM comprises of four main directories:

• src: the core OpenFOAM libraries
• applications: solvers and utilities
• tutorials: cases that demonstrate a wide-range of OpenFOAM functionality
• test: cases that test and validate individual models or aspects of OpenFOAM functionality
• etc: configuration files
• bin: scripts
• doc: documentation
